Frederick came to us from the SPCA after being abandoned, but he has not let that chapter define him. He has been living the good life in foster care, healing from a skin infection, slimming down a few pounds, and proving what a resilient, wonderful dog he truly is.<br/>Frederick is the definition of a gentle giant, although he will happily remind you that he still takes up an entire sofa. Like many seniors his size, he has some mild arthritis and a few age-related lumps, but his bloodwork and X-rays look good and he is otherwise healthy for a Dane his age.
