You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Frederick is our sweet little old man. He was found as a stray and landed in a shelter. We rescued him soon after. He was a shelter favorite and needed a dental asap. He also had some skin issues but now his skin has cleared up and he is flea free. He immediately blended in with his foster family of dogs and new humans. He loves to play with his ball and sunbathe on the deck. He is definitely a lap dog but he does love his special chair. After that, you will be contacted by one of our area (Traid, Triangle or Coastal) adoption directors to process your application if you are approved. Applications can be denied for various reasons, and in other cases sometimes based on application, directors may recommend a different pet that may be a fit if another is pending adoption, or personalities do not seem to match. Our goal is to find out pets forever homes, and we are not a first come first serve rescue. We choose families based on the need of the animal.
