Freddy (D25-03)'s Story

Meet Freddy! Freddy is a sweet terrier mix who is still learning about the world and building his trust in humans. He would thrive in a calm, quiet home with a patient adopter who understands his needs and is willing to work with him at his own pace.

Freddy does best with another confident, established dog in the home to help him feel more comfortable during his transition. He prefers calmer dogs and a peaceful household where he can take his time to explore, relax, and feel safe. Freddy values his space and will do best with someone who respects that while giving him gentle guidance and love.

A meet and greet is highly recommended to ensure Freddy is a good fit for your home and family.
------
Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
