Freddy's Story

Weekend update from his new foster: "Freddy's adjusting well. His limpy arm is bulgy at the elbow, but doesnt appear to be painful and we are working on potty training and learning sit over the last 2 days:) He's very sweet and playful, not a barker at all- so def would be a good apartment doggie for anyone looking for that!”

Freddy is about a year and a half and we're told nobody has wanted him because he was born with a cleft palette. It just looks like an underbite and he eats just fine. He has a limp as he bit by his Mum when he was a baby but the vet says it doesn't cause him any pain. He gets along with other dogs, kids and cats. They call him “Noble-" that's what they say about dogs with a good disposition

Freddy is being fostered in Denver, Colorado and available to meet!

Red Fern Animal Rescue offers a two week foster to adopt trial in your home before finalizing the adoption to ensure the animal is the right fit for you, everyone in the home, human & animal, and vice versa.

Red Fern Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based animal rescue in Denver that saves animals from abandonment and neglect in South Texas for new lives in Colorado.
