Weighing in at a perfect, compact 24 pounds and currently staying with a foster family in Midtown Atlanta, he has a hearts-and-smiles personality and loves absolutely everyone he meets. If you are looking for a playful companion who is as affectionate as he is smart, Freddo is your guy.<br/><br/>Here is everything you need to know about this handsome boy:<br/><br/>- Incredibly Soft & Low Shed: He has a remarkably soft coat, and unlike many Border Collie mixes, he is low-shedding, meaning more time for snuggling and less time spent vacuuming.<br/><br/>- A Social Butterfly: Freddo hits the trifecta of friendliness. He loves all dogs, is wonderful with people (including children), and is completely indifferent about cats. He is ready to fit into almost any household.<br/><br/>- Playful & Affectionate: He has that classic, fun-loving puppy energy but balances it beautifully with a deeply affectionate side. He is always down for a game of fetch, followed immediately by heavy cuddling.<br/><br/>- Great House Manners in Progress: Freddo is already fully crate trained, making his transitions smooth. <br/>He is still a young pup and actively working on his potty training, but his smart brain means he is catching on quickly.<br/><br/>Freddo is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and the perfect blend of brains, beauty, and sweetness. He is ready to bring a lifetime of love, loyalty, and joyful energy to his new home!<br/><br/>Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. <br/><br/>Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. <br/><br/>Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog.
