He’s a wiggly, affectionate guy who isn’t shy about asking for pets or leaning in for some love. Freddie is the kind of dog who follows you from room to room, just happy to be near you and included in your day. Freddie can be selective with other dogs, so he’d do best in a home where he can be your main focus or where introductions are taken slow and thoughtfully. With his big heart and people-first personality, he’s ready to be a loyal, loving companion. Joshua Tree No-Kill Shelter's Adoption Policy

For dog adoption: We prefer a fenced in yard, adequately sized for the size of the dog. A fence check (photos, videos) will be performed before an application is approved. If you do not have a fenced in yard, please submit a detailed exercise plan. If you have other pets, it is a requirement to schedule an interaction to make sure that they get along. For cat adoption: No interactions are required between cats before adoption. We base our decision on approving the adoption after reviewing the questionnaire on the adoption application.
