VIP: Freddie is so cute! He is a playful pup who is about 12 months of age. He is a vocal boy who likes to express his opinions on things so will be best in a single family home. (no apartments etc.) Freddie is very friendly and eager to become part of your home. He just loves to play with toys and is a silly boy! Adopted animals are not able to go to their new home until spay and neuter surgery has been done. Adoptions are first come first serve, and no appointment or application is needed. Plano Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

Adoptions are first come first serve. There is no application. Anyone over 18 years of age is eligible to adopt provided that they meet the adoption criteria for that specific animal. Criteria can range from having basic knowledge of the animal’s species or breed, having an established veterinary history, not having young children, the animal being legal to own in the city they live in, the breed they’re interested in being accepted at their apartments, etc. If a potential adopter doesn’t meet the criteria in place for that animal, they will be encouraged to look at other animals that may not have those restrictions in place. The criteria must also be met in order to visit with an animal.
