Freddie's Story

Freddie is starting his very own walking club; wanna join?

This boy LOVES going on walks and loves people, so he thought he'd put his two favorites together. Dog friends are also welcome to join in! He gets along great with his canine friends. It's best to let the feline types form their own club, as Freddie is wayyyy too interested in them. Older kiddos (over 10 years old) can come along! He gets so excited when he meets those little ones that we know he would feel bad if he knocked them over.

Mr. Freddie is a 6-year-old Hound mix weighing 63 pounds. This smart guy knows sit, lie down, get a drink, and go potty. True to his breed, he can be a bit stubborn, so having some treats on hand works great to encourage him to listen. He is housetrained and chooses to sleep in bed with his person. When it comes to toys, the more durable the better. His goal in life is to demolish any and every toy possible. But... do you have some cardboard? If so, those are his favorite! In fact, Freddie is a box thief and will steal them any chance he gets.

The best type of home for Freddie is one with a fenced-in backyard and where his family takes him on a walk, or two, or three a day. His foster mom tells us he is goofy in such a loveable way. Freddie makes a great watchdog as he is super nosey about what's going on in the neighborhood. The howl, it's the best!

Freddie is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $175. Meet-and-greets will be scheduled with approved adopters.

Freddie decided to name his walking club 'Walking with Freddie', and he is open to new members. Join now before he walks off with another family.

Apply to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org

Pawsitive Tails's Adoption Policy
Pawsitive Tails is dedicated to matching the needs and personality of our dogs with your family. We are not in a hurry to adopt out our dogs; we want to make sure the match is perfect for everyone. All of the dogs in our rescue live in foster homes with both the human and furry members of our families. Our adoption process begins with an application which can be found under the "adopt" tab on our website, www.pawsitivetailskc.org. Please complete the form in full; the questions we ask help us to fully understand what type of dog you are looking for, and to make sure you get the very best fit. Incomplete applications will not be processed. If you do not include a vet phone number, a landlord phone number (if applicable), or 3 complete references, we cannot process your application. We will contact your Veterinarian, so please make sure to call them to release your vet history to our volunteer. &nbs
