Meet Fred
Introducing Fred -
WOW! I am a real people pleaser, and boy am I the sweetest! I love people and dogs and but I really really really like kids! My favorite person at my foster home is a 5 year old little girl that I just LOVE to cuddle up on the couch with. I am hearing and vision impaired but it doesn’t slow my down one bit - well, sometimes I stumble but it doesn’t stop me! I am mostly housebroken and use a doggie door but because of my vision impairment sometimes I don’t feel comfortable going out on my own, especially if it is dark. I don’t love being in a kennel by myself but I can do if I have a partner. I mostly sleep when you are away so if you have a spot for me, I will be happy! I am your typcical dachshund, I love to scavange for snacks, so keep your pantry closed or you will find me rooting around for a nibble. I will also let you know when it is dinner time!
If you are looking for the best little cuddle bug, Fred is your man! I am about 12 years old and 13 lbs.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
