Meet Fred!<br/>Fred is a one-year-old Frenchie with a big heart who’s looking for the right person to make him their world. His journey hasn’t been easy—he’s already been through two homes, both with children, where he was rehomed after some biting incidents. We believe this was more about the environment than Fred himself—small dogs like him can feel overwhelmed with too much noise, energy, or the risk of being stepped on.<br/><br/>When Fred arrived at TLC Pet Rescue, we placed him in a foster home. At first, he wasn’t so sure about his foster mom either, but within just a few hours he realized she was safe. Since then, he hasn’t left her side. Fred bonds deeply with his person and once that connection is built, he is nothing but loyal and loving.<br/><br/>In his foster home, Fred has been around other dogs, but he really prefers to be the only pup in the house. He isn’t reactive to cats and might be okay living with a confident, full-grown cat if given time and proper introductions.<br/><br/>Fred loves car rides, belly rubs, and being right by your side—he’s happiest when he’s close to his person. He is fully vetted and ready for his forever home. His perfect match will be someone who understands the unique needs of French Bulldogs, including their ongoing medical care, and who is ready to give Fred the safe, stable, one-on-one love he craves.<br/><br/>If you think you might be the one Fred has been waiting for, he would love to meet you!
