Freckles's Story

Freckles is 11 months old and is spayed and vaccinated. She is a piebald girl who is roughly 15 pounds and could stand to lose some weight. Freckles is a more nervous girl but finds comfort in having another younger male doxie to play with. Once Freckles warms up, she is a total velcro girlie to her person. She loves to be right where you are! Freckles needs work on socialization with people and dogs, although she adores her foster family and has learned to interact with their dogs nicely. Finally, Freckles was born with a very bowed back leg (we confirmed this with x-rays). Although she gets around just fine, she will likely experience arthritis as she becomes an adult/senior. We have started her on a joint supplement we would like her forever home to continue with.
