Thanks to the Bissell Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters campaign, my new family can take me home for $70!<br/><br/>Meet Freckles!<br/><br/>Freckles is a handsome and happy 4-year-old pit bull mix weighing 77 pounds. He has a big personality and a love for adventure! Freckles is strong, playful, and ready to find his forever home.<br/><br/>Freckles has plenty of energy and loves staying active. His favorite game is tug of war, and he never says no to a good chase-the-ball session (he's still working on the "bring it back" part!). He enjoys going for walks, chewing on his favorite toys, and riding in the car - especially when it means new sights and smells to explore.<br/>This smart boy is crate trained, completely housebroken, and takes his job as "home alert system" seriously - he'll let you know when someone's approaching, but he's not an over-barker.<br/><br/>Freckles is super-smart and very food motivated so training is easy as long as it is consistent. He's currently working with a trainer to help tone down his alpha energy when playing with other pups and is making great progress.<br/><br/>If you're looking for an energetic, loyal companion who's ready to join you on all of life's adventures, Freckles is your guy! <br/>Freckles is currently being fostered in Staten Island, NY. His adoption fee is $475.<br/><br/>"To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt<br/><br/>All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination.
