She enjoys daily walks and interactive time, but she’s equally happy relaxing nearby once her needs are met. She’s currently thriving in a foster home with other pets and does best with structure, routine, and clear boundaries.<br/><br/>What Freckles is like:<br/>• Confident, playful, and affectionate once she feels safe<br/>• Walks well on leash and enjoys daily outings<br/>• Good with cats<br/>• Does best with small, neutered male dogs<br/>• Can be reactive to larger dogs and female dogs<br/>• Prefers a calm environment and respectful handling<br/>• Does not like being picked up<br/>• Bonds closely with her person and enjoys companionship<br/><br/>Ideal home:<br/>Freckles would do best in a calm home with adults or older teens who understand dog behavior and will respect her boundaries. She can live happily in an apartment or a house, as long as she gets daily walks and a consistent routine. She would be happiest as an only dog or with a small, neutered male dog.
