Looking for a trail buddy with a big heart? Freckles might be your guy!<br/><br/>Freckles is a wiggly and affectionate Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix who is happiest by your side, whether you're strolling through town or heading out for a mountain adventure. He walks nicely on leash and has a good recall for his foster mom. <br/><br/>Freckles loves his people and after he knows you, is as loyal as most ACD's will be. He has, however, lost some confidence with new people in public places. He has done very well in both of his foster homes but will need someone open to helping him continue to get comfortable in public spaces. He can be nippy when over stimulated wanting to tell you he doesn't want you to leave, or he wants to play. <br/>Freckles is making great progress and just needs a someone how can make him feel heard, understood, and safe and he will be the good boy we know he can be. He gets along well with most other dogs, and would thrive in an active home where he can stretch his legs and be part of the action. <br/><br/>Cats aren't really his thing. He may be a smaller pup, but his personality is as big as the mountains around us. <br/><br/>Freckles is in a foster home and you may see him strolling down at the river taking walks at a local park. Please contact the shelter to make arrangements to meet him.
