Hi everyone! My name is Franz, but my foster mom calls me NewGuy! I am about 2 years old and just the happiest little man on the planet! All I want to do is be right by your side - Id love to find an active family with older kids. I would love it most if you took me out and about on all your adventures as I love all people and other dogs. Ive never seen a cat before, but Id probably like them, too! The worst time of the day for me is when my foster mom leaves for work. When she tells me to go into my crate, I am pretty sure if I go completely limp, and flop on my back she would stay home with me all day. I keep trying this tactic, day after day. But mom just tells me Im being a character, picks me up and puts me in my crate anyway. <br/>I have TONS of energy and would love an active companion my size or bigger. I dont mean to, but I can be a bit too much for older dogs, or dogs smaller than me because of how much I run around and play. ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org. Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possible. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place, references checked and a home visit will be conducted. We will then arrange for you to meet the dog. We require that all family members, including current dogs meet the dog prior to adoption. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed.
