FRANNY's Story

WATCH MY VIDEO...She’s just a baby! We’re hoping 9-month-old Franny gets scooped up by a loving family as soon as possible. She deserves to be spoiled and to feel safe enough to learn what love is. Instead, she’s spending her days trembling in her kennel, too scared to walk on a leash. This sweet girl is only 36 lbs, but fear has made her feel so small. She curls into the corner, shaking, unsure of the world around her. We have to carry her outside. The noise, the barking, the chaos of the shelter is just too much for her little heart, and it’s breaking ours. She is incredibly gentle. When you sit quietly with her and play soft music or sing to her, she starts to relax. She wants to trust so badly, she just doesn’t know how yet. We don’t know what she’s been through, but we do know this... Franny doesn’t need much. She just needs someone patient, kind, and willing to show her that the world can be safe again. She is just a baby who should be learning what love is, not how to be afraid of everything. Franny would do best in a calm home or foster where she can finally exhale. She does well with other dogs who share her gentle energy, and once she feels safe, her personality will begin to show. If you can give Franny the life she deserves, please submit an application and come meet her. Franny is currently at one of our wonderful foster homes to give her a break from the shelter, but she is still available to meet. Please share for Franny. Let’s get her out of here. She deserves more than this. The Humane Society of Broward County is located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Visit our website or call 954-989-3977 after 11 AM if you have any questions.
