He's microchipped, fully vaccinated, and healthy after being rescued just in time from a high-risk shelter situation just 9 months ago. Thanks to some TLC, a few medicated baths, and a loving home, Franklin is now thriving. He has been neutered and fully vaccinated. <br/><br/>This fun-loving pup enjoys the outdoors, especially running and chasing balls. He walks well on a leash. He’s easy-going and loves to explore. Indoors, he’s a professional cuddler who will climb into your lap or snuggle close, even if it means inventing new definitions of “personal space.”<br/><br/>Franklin has had training in his past, as he’ll sit and wait politely, and he responds well to commands inside the home. He’s very food motivated but polite at mealtimes and has never shown aggression, even with other dogs around. He plays with enthusiasm, so he’d do best with another dog who can match his playfulness. At almost 60 lbs, he would probably be a little too much for a small or elderly dog. He currently lives with two other dogs and does great with them both. He loves children and has been wonderful with four young grandchildren. He's gentle and affectionate, though his excitement can sometimes result in a friendly tumble. He loves water, is calm in the bath, and might even beat you to the shower.<br/><br/> His owner is a huge animal lover and has taken great care of him.
