Frankie "The Frankfurter"'s Story

Frankie the frankfurter, where to start? There is always that dog when you open a list of dogs to pick to bring into the organization . Most pick the small, the cute, the wiry haired. We pick the pup that would never get picked if not for us. Frankie is a special potcake, a dog from the Bahamas. He was found in 2024 very emaciated and in need of immediate medical care. His rescue photo is posted here. The rescue was unsure if he would have a chance and it came 2 weeks ago.

Frankie is 9 years old, 50 pounds, fully vetted and two daily eye meds and pain medication for his back legs. He takes his medication like a champ. Give Frank a comfy couch or dog bed and he will be fine for hours and hours. He is housebroken and goes out to do his business and lay in the sun. Sadly he hasnt had many of those days here yet lol. Frank has a special spirit and needs a truly special home that sees that immediately as we did. Sitting by the couch together, or out in the yard, Frank brings a calming presence and would truly make the most wonderful canine companion to a family for the rest of life. Frankie is in Marshfield MA

Our application can be found on the available dogs page, under the avaiable dogs page. Please check spam and your text messages for our responses. Thank you!
