FRANK's Story
Frank came into the shelter with his buddies Helen (A051118) and Dottie (A051119), and he’s been quietly stealing hearts ever since. This easygoing guy is a breeze to leash up and walks beautifully by your side, barely pulling as he takes in the world around him. He's an independent soul who truly enjoys doing his own thing. He enjoys wandering around, sniffing every interesting scent and exploring every corner. He has a lower energy level overall, with just the occasional short burst of zoomies before settling right back into his signature chill mode. He’s not much for toys and prefers a calm, low-key lifestyle. While he may not know any fancy tricks, he will sit for a treat...eventually! You just have to remind him that he knows how to sometimes. He takes treats softly from your hand and is always polite about it. Frank is sweet in his own quiet way. He’ll happily accept pets and lean in for a little love, but before long he’s off again. He’d do best in a home without tiny children (though he does well with older kids), and he's done well around other dogs in shelter playgroups. If you’re looking for a laidback, gentle companion who enjoys peaceful walks, quiet company, and a little independence mixed with sweetness, Frank just might be your guy.
