FRANK's Story

Frank is looking for a senior soft spot to park and enjoy his last few years. He came to us by way of the dog shelter as an unclaimed stray and moved to foster to keep him comfortable as he has arthritis in his back that is not amenable to shelter life. We estimate him to be approx 10yr old MN and believe he is likely a cattledog with possibly Jack Russel terrier mix. He is a gentle senior soul that gets along with all dogs, loves to snuggle, and prefers your pillow over any dog bed. He is sensitive around his neck and a little head shy but never aggressive. He uses steps to get on and off the bed and the couch because of a narrowing in his spine that obviously limits his mobility and causes him pain at certain angles. He would be a great candidate for acupuncture +/- chiro as well as various supplements and as needed pain meds. He tolerates crating but much prefers to be loose when you are gone. His bloodwork is great for a senior dog and he just had a dental. His skin is recovering from an obvious bout of fleas but nothing of concern and he has a few dermal nodules present that are old man warts. Adoption fee $150. 30lbs

If you would like to meet FRANK please complete an application for adoption, copy and paste this link into your browser

https://fs17.formsite.com/adoptionscc/form1/index

Any vaccinations/boosters due after adoption is finalized will be the new owner's responsibility. All animals are current at time of adoption but in some cases a booster series is required or a vaccine cannot be given due to age and cannot be completed prior to adoption

Our adoptable animals come to us from various sources, the most common being from an animal shelter who is unable to handle their physical or mental needs in the shelter setting but believe with the appropriate care, they can become adoptable.
