Frank's Story
Meet Frank

DOB: 04-01-2024

Frank is the kind of dog who lives life at full volume. Equal parts muscle, wiggles, and curiosity, he’s got a big personality to match his big heart.

Frank came up from the south with his brother Gus after a rough stretch of life bouncing between the streets and shelters. By the time they landed their chance here, they were running out of time. Frank hasn’t looked back since.

This guy is all about movement and connection. He loves being outside, running the yard, exploring every corner like it’s his personal mission, and then coming inside to crash on the couch like he just completed a full work shift. He’s affectionate, loyal, and not shy about asking for attention or handing out kisses. If you sit down, expect a cuddle buddy.

Frank already knows “sit” and “down,” and he’s both crate trained and house trained, which gives him a great foundation. He’s a smart dog who just needs some guidance to polish things up. Like a lot of young, strong dogs, he’s still working on his manners. He can jump when he’s excited, has a habit of testing what’s chewable, and will absolutely investigate your garbage if given the opportunity.

He also doesn’t always realize how strong he is, so a home that can handle his size and energy is important. Because of that, kids and small animals are a bit of an unknown. He does well with other large dogs and would likely enjoy having a playful dog companion, or an owner who’s committed to keeping him active and engaged.

Frank’s ideal home is one with space to move, whether that’s a yard or an active lifestyle that includes walks, playtime, and structure. He needs an outlet for his energy and a person who will continue working with him so he can grow into the well-mannered dog he’s capable of being.

At his core, Frank is a fun, loving, slightly chaotic good boy who just needs the right environment to thrive. Give him direction, consistency, and plenty of attention, and you’ll get a loyal companion who brings both energy and affection into your everyday life.

Apply at Rescueapittie.org!
