Frank's Story

Frank is an approximately 2 year old short-legged guy from New Mexico. He was turned into a shelter there for unknown reasons. The shelter noted that he has an old injury to his back right leg, causing him to hold it up in the air about half of the time. Frank does not show any sign of pain on this back leg, and due to his short legs and long body, he does use the leg for balance intermittently. Our guess is that it broke and re-healed a long time ago, and he has adjusted to life with limited mobility in that leg. Frank does not let it slow him down. He goes up and down the stairs normally, and likes to run around the yard with the other dogs and go for walks. Frank is good with all other dogs that we have introduced him to, although he does sometimes bark at larger male dogs (no signs of aggression however). We have not seen him with cats.

Frank is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.
