Frank's Story
Frank is well...a tank. He's a very strong guy and does have a leash pull to match. He does settle down on a leash and is able to be walked, but a good harness is recommended for him. We do believe that once he is out of the shelter with a real, consistent home, his behavior will improve. He enjoys company from people of all ages, but he does jump, so smaller children are not a good idea. Frank tested positive for heartworm upon intake at our shelter, so he has spent many months cooped up with no activity. We are happy to announce he has completed his heartworm treatment and had a re-test with negative results. He is neutered, and current on vaccinations. NO CAT friends for Frank. We haven't had good luck with him meeting other dogs, but we do require meet and greets with any dogs already in the home, and we are willing to try. It's so hard to say what his behavior will be as he's always been on restrictions since being at the shelter. He was just recently neutered and is still on restrictions from that until (4/30/26). <br/>If you have any questions or if you're interested in meeting Frank, please contact us directly at (989) 343-7387 or rfas1367@gmail.com.
