Frank's Story

The sweetest explorer youll ever meet!

Hi! Im Frank! My foster mom says Im named after Sir Francis Drake because I love to explore. Im not sure who that is but if he was sweet and curious and interested in new things Id probably like him. My foster-mom says I like everyone I meet so I think Id definitely like that Sir Francis guy. I think Im about 7 years old but Im not sure. I weigh about 55lbs. Im a pretty chill guy and am content to be near people or my foster brothers.

I have three foster brothers that I like following around and watching what they do. Im more of a sidelines than a jump in the game kinda guy. I also dont fall for my littlest foster brothers barking, Im a good boy and dont join him when he barks at sounds or things he sees outside, in fact the only time I bark is when I have to go potty. I am very good with going potty outside but sometimes I like to walk a bit to get everything done. Or maybe I just like to go for short walks. My foster mom says I am very good on a leash, I am polite and do what she says. I dont know all my commands yet but I listen well and follow directions. I respond really well when people tell me Im a good boy and give me some ear scratches.

Ive only been around boy dogs and I do really well but I think I would be okay with girl dogs and cats as long as they are ok with me cautiously saying hi. I have been around older kids (13+) and I really liked them, I think I would be ok with younger kids as long as they are gentle and dont mind my snores.

Im a pretty good eater but Im a bit messy and sometimes need some extra time to get everything my foster mom helps me with that and I try my best to be polite while she does that but I really like eating. I eat away from my foster brothers so I have time and space to get everything.

My back legs are a little weak so I have trouble with stairs and cant jump on furniture. I can do a few stairs but not any more than that. When my foster family goes upstairs for bedtime I stay downstairs, I dont mind too much but I do get excited when everyone comes downstairs in the morning. I even do the cutest good morning wave because I am so happy to see them. I am crate trained but my foster mom says I dont need to go into a crate when she leaves because I am a very good boy. Im also really good in the car and love to go for rides.

If you are looking for a handsome, sweet boy to join your family, I would love to meet you!

Please visit our website www.ebullymatch.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.

Chicago English Bulldog Rescue's Adoption Policy
ADOPTION TAKES THOUGHT AND PATIENCE. We know you are excited about the thought of getting a bully. But before you make this decision, we ask that you have done the following: Spoken with all members of your household and come to mutual agreement. Discussed the new addition with your home owner's association or landlord if applicable. Experienced the breed yourself. If you do not currently have a bully family member, we ask that you attend one of our CEBR events before applying. Double check our Adoption Area Map to be sure you are in our range. Save up! Bullies are not an inexpensive breed and having a solid savings account that has an emergency fund is essential. Rescue bullies are also not a way to get a "cheap bully." Often times rescue bullies end up costing more in upkeep than a bully purchased from a breeder.
