Francis is ready for her third chance.<br/><br/>Adopted from the OKC shelter in 2021, her story was supposed to end happily. Instead, she was recently found standing in the middle of the road, painfully thin, with a large tumor on her leg and nowhere left to go. She ended up back at the shelter and on the euthanasia list, but we knew her story wasn’t over.<br/><br/>Now, after getting the care she needed, Francis is healed and finally ready for the fresh start she has always deserved.<br/><br/>Francis is a 7 year old, 70 pound Pit Bull mix with a goofy personality and the biggest heart. She’s a total house hippo who loves to cuddle and be close to her people. She does well with dogs of all sizes, though she can be a bit dominant and will give corrections when needed.<br/><br/>She is potty trained, kennel trained, and very food motivated, making her eager to learn.
