Meet Francine the Frenchie! Francine is a roughly 8-9 year old princess that was brought in as a stray. Francine was in rough shape, covered in urine, not spayed, could hardly walk and heart worm positive. Since then she has been vetted and fostered until she was well enough to find a forever home. <br/><br/>Here are some notes from her foster mom: Francine Francine is the most chill, easy to care for dog that I’ve ever known; she would be perfect for a household seeking an intelligent and mature companion.<br/>Feeding- Eating is, by far, Francine’s favorite activity; and she loves all the flavors of the brand Cesar. Next to food, Francine’s favorite activity is being brushed! I bought a nice soft one that must have felt good to her because she loved the daily brush session! Tonight, I gave her a dry bath, followed by brushing her so she had two sessions; she was so content.<br/>Socialization: Francine got along with my whole family - children as well as adults - many of whom came by periodically to visit, she was content being picked up and carried from room to room. She also had two play dates with dogs: we visited my next door neighbor who has an old small male dog, and went to my son’s house for Super Bowl Sunday where their female Dalmatian was originally not friendly but warmed up to Francine. Both times, Francine was calm and quiet.<br/>Music - I often have music playing in my house; sometimes, I would pick up Francine and we would “dance”. And I typically would play music designed just for her when I had to leave my house; I really am impressed with Zoundz which would provide me with the perfect playlist and would make Francine so content; I never had to worry about separation anxiety! Sleeping habits - Francine has a bed and cage in her room; she typically slept on her bed but would occasionally get in the cage for a few minutes. She usually goes to bed around 9 and gets up around 8, so she is perfect for a household that doesn’t like to get up super early. She always sleeps through the night and has a mild snore, which I’m told is common with her breed because of her nose. <br/><br/>All in all, Francine is a cute Frenchie who would be an asset to any household; she is adorable! 🥰
