I’ve learned a lot of tricks at Wayside and love showing them off when I feel comfortable. I enjoy toys of all kinds, Kong's, rope toys, squeaky toys, you name it, I’m ready to play! I also love being around other dogs and sharing toys when I feel safe. I’m happiest in calm, peaceful environments where I can explore at my own pace. Life feels safest when I know I have time and patience from the people I trust.<br/><br/>I’m playful and love mental stimulation, like puzzle toys or games that challenge me. I’m learning new commands and enjoy practicing with treats as a reward. While I’m shy with new people at first, positive reinforcement and gentle encouragement help me gain confidence quickly. I enjoy snuggles, gentle pets, and playful moments when I feel safe. <br/><br/>I’m loyal and affectionate to those who earn my trust, and I love being part of a family. For my safety, I need to wear a martingale collar on walks. Wayside recommends that the whole family meet me before adoption so I can take my time getting comfortable with everyone.
