Fozzie Bear's Story

Meet Fozzie Bear!

This silly little pup recently came to AFRP from San Jose Animal Care Center due to their overflowing canine population! Now he's ready to find his special furever home!

Fozzie Bear is the kind of dog who makes being around him feel easy. Sweet, playful, affectionate, and incredibly friendly, Fozzie loves just about everyone he meets and is always happiest when he can be by your side. Whether you're heading out for a walk, spending time around the house, or settling in for some cuddles, Fozzie is ready to join you!

Fozzie absolutely loves people and is especially wonderful with children. He also enjoys the company of other dogs and has a playful, social personality that makes him a great companion for both two-legged and four-legged friends. He could happily live with another dog and would likely enjoy having a canine buddy to keep him company, but he's just as content hanging out with his people. It is currently unknown how Fozzie may be with a cat in the home. His ideal home would be with adult adopters or families with dog-savvy children over the age of six.

One of Fozzie's best qualities is his easygoing nature. He's not much of a barker and hasn't shown any destructive habits in his foster home. He hasn't needed much from his foster family beyond the basics because he's simply been such an easy dog to have around. He doesn't know a lot of formal commands yet, but he's eager to be included and is always close by, whether his person is cooking dinner, relaxing at home, or heading outside for an adventure.

Fozzie is mostly house-trained and does best when given regular opportunities to go outside for walks or potty breaks. He'll benefit from a family who can continue building on those good habits and introduce him to some basic obedience training. His biggest dislike is being in a kennel, so he's much happier when he can be out with his people and part of the action.

Interested in adopting Fozzie Bear?
