Foxy's Story

This adorable little girl is Foxy. She is a one-year-old miniature pinscher mix and weighs 13 lb. Foxy came to DAWS from one of our Southern partners and when she arrived, we discovered she was pregnant! She had five adorable puppies that are thriving. While Foxy did an amazing job raising her puppies, it is time she finds her own forever home. Foxy is a sweet, energetic and playful girl. She loves affection and someone to throw a toy for her. While she does have a lot of energy, she also enjoys curling up next to her family. Foxy is housetrained and walks nicely on a leash. Foxy would do best in a home with teens and up. Foxy is microchipped, vaccinated and healthy. Her adoption fee is $400 (includes spay surgery). Foxy is at a foster home, not at our shelter. Adoption Process Our goal is to find you the perfect pet for your family. We recommend that you consider what age, size and temperament of cat or dog would best suit your lifestyle, home and family. An Adoption Counselor will process your application and once approved, a meet and greet with the cat or dog will be arranged.
