Meet Foxy!<br/><br/>This adorable and amazing young mixed breed girl just arrived in our program here in Oregon from a rescue we partner with down in the Baja California Sur region in Mexico. She and her lucky travel mates are now settling in with their temporary foster families and getting the chance to decompress and rest from their long travels. Foxy is a fun-loving, social puppy who brings joy wherever she goes. She's incredibly sweet, well-socialized, and enjoys being around people, other dogs, and just about anyone willing to give her attention. She is still a puppy, so she's currently working on housetraining, crate training, and leash skills, and will thrive in a home that can provide structure and consistency. She's outgoing and affectionate, great with dogs, cats, and kids, and loves attention and playtime.<br/><br/>Rescue Story: Frodo and Foxy were rescued with their littermates after being abandoned, and she's ready to leave that behind and find a family to call her own.<br/><br/>Foster Update 4/13:<br/><br/>Foxy is such a love bug. Very friendly and I can tell a resilient and adaptable dog. She's already very cozy here! She's dog friendly and zero reaction when she could hear my cat. She's a more passive / submissive dog when with other dogs. As you all already know - she is not potty trained. We are working on the with her already along with the basics like "sit." She is treat motivated! Foxy attaches to her humans easily. She loves being right next to me. She has a calm demeanor. We took Foxy on her first hike today with our dog pack. She had a blast. Did perfectly. Does not pull at all. Loose leash. She's a pro! She is very happy out there. So cute. She's gonna truly make a perfect companion.
