Foxy 's Story
Meet Foxy!

Foxy is a one year old Pomchi (Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix) weighing just 8 pounds—but his little body holds a whole lot of love waiting to be given.

Foxy can be shy at first and needs a patient, understanding adopter who will let him come out of his shell at his own pace. He’s a “slow and steady wins the race” kind of pup—but once you earn his trust, it’s truly something special. Foxy becomes deeply devoted, incredibly affectionate, and will happily be your little shadow, following you everywhere and soaking up all your love. He’s the definition of a loyal companion.

He is crate-trained and does well going to the bathroom outside. In his current foster home (which has several dogs), he does wear a belly band indoors due to some marking—but this is likely related to the environment and is manageable with consistency.

Foxy gets along great with other dogs and even snuggles up with the cat at night—he’s a sweet, gentle little guy who enjoys the company of other animals.

Foxy’s story is one of resilience. When he first arrived in foster care, he was in heartbreaking condition—missing most of his hair and extremely underweight. With love and care, he has come such a long way, and now he’s ready for the next chapter: a forever home where he will be cherished and given the life he truly deserves.

He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and will come with a health certificate prior to adoption.

Foxy is looking for someone who will see past his initial shyness and give him the time he needs—because once he chooses you, he will love you endlessly.

https://www.livefreerescue.com/adoption-application

**We can’t adopt to MA residents**
