Foxy's Story

Meet Foxy!

Foxy is a sweet, playful girl who is still building her confidence. She can be shy at first, but give her a little time to warm up and you'll discover a friendly girl who LOVES snuggles! She's great with kids and gets along wonderfully with dogs young and old.

Foxy has plenty of energy and loves to run, play, toss toys around-and of course, destuff them! She walks nicely on a leash and has already enjoyed several trips to downtown Fredericksburg, where she did fantastic meeting people, exploring and hanging out at a sidewalk cafe.

She's also a crate superstar-quiet, comfortable and always keeps it clean!

Foxy has been around cats and may be able to live with a very dog-savvy cat with a proper introduction. She does like to chase and play, though, so her feline roommate would need to be confident enough to set boundaries.

One little thing to know: Foxy can get carsick, but skipping food before rides has helped tremendously. Otherwise, she has great car manners!

Overall, Foxy is a wonderful girl who just needs a little confidence and someone willing to let her blossom at her own pace.
