Foxy Australian Shepherd Mix Joliet, IL

Foxy is a year and a half years old mixed breed dog. She came to us heartworm positive and pregnant, had babies here and now she's had heartworm treatment and is ready for her forever home. She is a very sweet girl but is high energy. She is only about 35 pounds. She loves to run so a fenced in yard is a MUST! She also does not like cats so needs a home with NO cats. She loves other dogs.

Adopters must live within a 100-mile radius of Joliet, IL to be considered. The adoption fee is $425. This covers all shots, spay/neutering and microchip.

Our adoption process typically takes from one to two weeks. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require that the dogs be present at the meeting to make sure it's a good fit all around. Once compatibility is determined, we move on to the paperwork and finalizing the adoption.

If the meet is not a good fit, we will keep your application on file for up to 1 year and we will gladly consider your family for another dog.
