After gunshots were heard and the other mom disappeared, PMRR and BTBB stepped in and saved 14 puppies and sweet Foxy. Foxy has six puppies who are between 2 and 3 weeks. She is a little shy at first but then warms up and is the sweetest girl ever. She is looking for her forever home when she is finished her mom duties.<br/><br/>Foxy AKA Mama Willow’s First Night<br/><br/>A little update from Willow’s foster mum after night one with this lovely girl and her six babies.<br/><br/>It’s all very new for Willow, and she’s feeling unsure, so we’re keeping things quiet and letting her take her time. She’s been happy for me to sit close, stroke her gently and check on the puppies including picking them up. The little ones are nursing, and Willow ate well and had a good drink this morning before going outside for the bathroom, so far she appears to be toilet trained. She is gentle and welcomes being stroked. She is an excellent mama and is doing a great job with her babies.<br/><br/>We’re taking each day as it comes and helping her learn that she and her babies are safe. I’ll keep sharing their journey here.

A little update from Willow’s foster mum after night one with this lovely girl and her six babies.
