Foxy

Meet Foxy - A Sweet Soul Looking for His Next Chapter!

Foxy is one of four much-loved pets whose family recently reached out to Street Dog Hero for help finding them new homes. After facing some challenging life circumstances, his owner made the heartbreaking decision to rehome her beloved companions, wanting to give each of them the opportunity for a safe and loving future. Thanks to a connection through her daughter, a longtime Street Dog Hero foster parent, we were able to help with their rehoming efforts here in Bend, Oregon. We're grateful to have the opportunity to help Foxy and his furry family members find the next homes they'll call their own.

As an older, small-breed mixed-breed dog, Foxy deserves a family that understands the special value of welcoming a more mature companion into their lives. He's at a stage where finding the right home, with people committed to his comfort and well-being, is especially important. We hope his next chapter brings the security, care, and lasting companionship every dog deserves. Foxy is still undergoing his veterinary evaluation with Street Dog Hero. Before he's cleared for adoption, he'll need to meet our standard medical requirements, including a wellness examination, core vaccinations, spay or neuter surgery, and microchipping, as applicable to her individual needs.

We're sharing Foxy's story now to help him reach as many potential adopters as possible. Sometimes, all it takes is one person seeing a post and realizing there's room in their home and heart for one more. Please help us spread the word for Foxy! His next loving family could be out there waiting to find him.

PupFax: Foxy
Adoption Status: Pending Medical
Medical Clearance: Pending
Medical Status: Pending
Location: Bend, OR
Rescue Intake Type: Local Surrender/Bend, OR
At-a-Glance Stats
Breed: Mixed Small Breed
Spayed/Neutered: Pending
Vaccinations: Up to date
Microchipped: Yes
(Each adoption includes their wellness check, vaccinations (core shots), microchip and spay/neuter, which will be done before we can send them home with their adopter.)
Home & Lifestyle Fit -
People: Good
Dogs: Good
Kids: TBD
Cats: Good - Has lived with a cat!
Training & Manners
House/Potty Trained: TBD
Crate Trained: TBD
Leash Skills: TBD
Commands Known: TBD
Food/Treat Motivation: TBD
Health Notes: Good
Overall Health: Good
Known Medical Needs: (All known medical and behavioral information is disclosed prior to adoption.)
