Fox is a 5.5-year-old Heeler who is ready to trade his days outdoors for a cozy spot inside where he can spend his golden years relaxing with his people. He was surrendered to us because his owner was no longer able to care for him, and we know this chunky, calm boy deserves a wonderful new beginning.<br/>Fox has a lot going for him! He is very housebroken, walks beautifully on a leash, and does well with cats. He also enjoys the company of other dogs, although he prefers calm, respectful canine friends who aren't constantly in his face. Fox is much more of a "let's just hang out" kind of guy.<br/>While Fox has spent most of his life as an outdoor dog, we think he would be perfectly content—and probably pretty happy—being an indoor companion. At 5.5 years old, he's settled into his personality and doesn't need a wild, busy lifestyle.
