Foster Needed

Popeye, estimated 3-5 years, 60+lbs, has a very sturdy build. He is very dependent on his brother and licks his face when they reunite, but when they are apart, he really grows in his confidence, walking proudly on a leash, exploring new spaces. He enjoys snuggling on the sofa and giving little kisses. He rode ok in the car but whined. He also had to be picked up to load into the car. He will do well in a home that can help him build some confidence and learn that new things are great, not scary. He did fine with children that he encountered. He has not met children younger than 9 though. He met a new male dog, a Brittany, and was fine to walk alongside him when they were leashed. He is neutered and fully vaccinated.<br/><br/>Popeye does not have much socialization, so he doesn't know how to greet other dogs appropriately yet.
