She can arrive August 1.<br/><br/>Some dogs just radiate happiness, and Miss Smiley Wiggle Butt is one of them.<br/><br/>Her story began in Mississippi, where she was found living in a parking lot before being picked up by animal control. Thankfully, rescuers recognized what a special girl she was and made sure she had the chance to find a brighter future. She has been thriving in her foster home since February and is now ready to make the journey to Illinois.<br/><br/>This sweet girl has an incredible temperament. She absolutely loves other dogs and has had zero issues with any of the pups in her foster home. If theres a playmate around, shes all in! She also peacefully coexists with cats and simply doesnt pay them any mind.<br/><br/>Shes wonderful with children, walks nicely on a leash, and sleeps quietly in her crate at night. Her foster family says she is one of the happiest dogs theyve ever met. Shes always wearing a smile, and her tail wags so enthusiastically that her whole body sways—earning her the nickname Miss Smiley Wiggle Butt!<br/><br/>She did have a few potty-training accidents early on, but it turned out she had a urinary tract infection. Now that the UTI has been addressed, shes doing much better. Because she spends a lot of time outside in her current foster home and is crated overnight, she may just need a little consistency and patience as she settles into a new routine.<br/><br/>Miss Gracie is the total package—friendly, affectionate, playful, and full of joy. If youre looking for a dog who will greet every day (and every person) with a happy smile and a wagging tail, she just might be your perfect match.<br/><br/>Could you be the foster or forever family this sweet girl has been waiting for?<br/><br/>The rescue provides all things to successfully bring a foster dog in your home. Crate, food, leash, collar, treats and toys provided. All vetting provided. We just ask that you provide a safe and loving home until Gracie is adopted. Foster Tamis vet first privileges to adopt prior to placing the dog up for adoption.
