Forrest's Story
Meet FORREST.
Currently about 13 weeks old, Forrest is what we lovingly call a “mystery mix masterpiece.”
We were told Old English Sheepdog, and those fluffy looks track… but the webbed feet and love of water are strongly suggesting there’s some retriever or lab somewhere in the family tree.
Whatever the mix is… it works.
Forrest and his siblings were part of a litter of nine puppies. Begin the day with joy.
He’s the first to greet you, the first to investigate anything fun, and the first to sign up for whatever adventure you have planned.
If you’re looking for a fun, medium-sized companion dog, Forrest might be your guy. We expect him to mature somewhere in the around-40-lb range, give or take once those legs finish stretching out.
We’re hoping to get some solo glamour shots of Forrest soon, but rescue life is a little chaotic right now — so for the moment you’ll have to trust us that he’s ridiculously adorable.
📍 Knoxville, TN area preferred
Neuter contract with deposit required due to breed mix and expected size (we’re typically a small-dog rescue).
The first step is always the application.
Apply at:
RecycledBestFriends.org
