Meet Forrest 🌿

Five months ago, Forrest looked like this.

Filthy. Matted. Covered in neglect that didn’t happen overnight.
This wasn’t one bad day—this was a long stretch of being forgotten.

Then the house burned.

And somehow… Forrest was still the one left behind.

But here’s the part they didn’t count on:
Forrest didn’t break.

Today, he’s standing tall, cleaned up, and still one of the gentlest souls you’ll ever meet. No anger. No edge. Just quiet, steady kindness from a dog who had every reason to shut down—and didn’t.

Who Forrest Is Now:
â€˘   A calm, easygoing Great Pyrenees with a soft heart
â€˘   Friendly and approachable—he leans into affection instead of shying away
â€˘   Observant and loyal (your future shadow, whether you asked for one or not)
â€˘   The kind of dog who makes a house feel like home just by being in it

What He Needs:
Forrest is looking for a home that sees him—not as a project, not as a pity case—

No Greater Love's Adoption Policy
Our rescue group is proudly based in Alabama, where we care for our animals until they find their forever homes. Once adopted, we arrange transportation to their new families! Unless otherwise noted in their profile, all animals are located in Alabama. "Out of Town Pet" means they can be transported to the specific state, not that they are currently in that state. Please note: At this time, we are unable to process applications with a Massachusetts address due to state regulations regarding out-of-state animals. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Our transport fee is $200 for dogs and $75 for cats.
