Forest's Story

Forest is one half of a very unexpected-and very adorable-surprise!

His mom, Lily, is a sweet Newfoundland mix who arrived at the shelter appearing to have recently had puppies. There were no puppies in sight, until one morning when-BAM. Puppies! Forest and his brother Fern had arrived, solving the mystery in the most adorable way possible.

Forest is now safely growing up with his gentle, loving mom and enjoying everything puppyhood has to offer. He's got plenty of exploring, learning, and growing ahead of him, with Lily there to show him the ropes.

He may have been a surprise, but Forest is sure to be the perfect surprise for the family lucky enough to bring him home.
