FORD's Story
Paws was informed of this dog last winter. Someone was starving him and he was literally skin and bones. Our foster for at risk dogs volunteered for this assignments. Ford was first taken to the vet for a check up. We were given a go ahead for food and Ford's weight went up at an acceptable rate. He is now at a comfortable 100 lbs and is very healthy.
We had him neutered and all the vaccinations are current. He is Heartworm negative.
I, personally, took FORD on a 2 hour trip to csnip in Grand Rapids to get neutered. He was an excellent rider and just enjoyed being out and about. He did pull a little bit on his leash and I wasn't expecting that, but he was just excited and no harm done. This is a very minor transgression that is easily fixed.
I would take Ford in a heartbeat, but am fostering dozens of cats. He is that great of a dog. I hope that whoever adopts him knows how lucky they are. He will love you forever and be your best friend.
