Fonzie's Story

Fonzie is available for adoption. Fonzie came in with Lenny and Squiggy and now all three little boys are available for adoption.

Fonzie is such a good boy! He is super sweet and loves getting pets, scratches, and belly rubs. Fonzie became fast friends with the other beagle in the foster home but could also do great without another dog in the home.

Fonzie eats his food quickly and has no aggression issues. He loves treats and can be motivated easily with them. He is trying to learn a few basic commands such as sit and stay and is happy to practice.

Fonzie loves to go on walks and does well on a leash. He is a little bit nervous of large dogs and new humans, but he does usually warm up, willing to greet almost anyone with patience. He also does great in a car and enjoys the ride!

There are no cats in the foster home so we are not sure how he would do around them.

Fonzie tried to mark inside the house a few times right when he arrived, but has since had no accidents.

Fonzie sleeps in a crate in the foster home, but so far prefers the crate to be in the bedroom so he can see his humans and be calm through the night. If left in the crate in another room during the day or night he typically will bark to be let out.

We are so exited that Fonzie now has a chance to be in his forever home by Christmas. Wouldn't you love to be the one to give this little 2 year old beagle a chance at a wonderful life!

For an application go to www.homesfurhounds.org
He is located in Williamsburg, VA.
