Fonzie is a big, lovable goofball with a playful spirit and a heart just as big as his personality. If there’s a ball nearby, you can bet Fonzie is ready for a game. Toss it, roll it, bounce it, he’s all in. Playtime is one of his favorite parts of the day, and he brings an infectious kind of joy that makes it hard not to smile when he’s around. Fonzie gets along well with other dogs and has even been around a cat before. His reaction? He simply left the cat alone and went about his business, which is a pretty good review in the dog world. We haven’t seen Fonzie around kids yet, so we’re not sure how he feels about them, but his friendly and easygoing nature suggests he would do well. Wilber's Rescue Foundation's Adoption Policy

We have an application that must be filled out. We will contact you within 24 hours to review your application verbally and answer any questions you may have about a potential pet. After that we schedule a meet and greet with potential families. If the vibes are good we proceed with a foster to adopt trial- ALL adoptable animals must go through a 2 weeks trial. This gives the adopting family 2 weeks to decide if it's the right fit and provides a 2 week respite for the foster family while also holding the pet's foster spot open incase it is not the right fit! If it is the right fit then at the end of the 2 weeks we will sign adoption contracts and have adoption fees paid.

Wilber's Rescue Foundation is committed to reducing the homeless animal population by increasing access to resources like food, toys, veterinary care, spay/neuter and training in under served areas. We also do active rescue, continuing to save lives in our community.
