Fonzi

Fonzi was found roaming the streets of Tulare and was turned over to animal control. As a large adult dog he quickly found his way onto the euthanasia list and by God's grace landed here. He's a unique boy who we'd thought was deaf, but he found his hearing when he lost his testicles :) <br/>He's a large dude with a calm gentle demeanor. He's never known the inside of a home and unfortunately with all the chaos of rescue we've not been able to work on that, but he seems to know what he's bred for and doesn't have a problem being a Pyrenees in a large field keeping predators at bay. He has not been exposed to small livestock, but has not had a problem with our pigs, cows or horses. He needs a good fence and an owner who realizes these guys still need love everyday and a good brushing at least every other day. He is soo ready to bond! He does best with female dogs as he was neutered late in life and ran the streets early in life so had to hold his own and won't back down from more assertive males. He is an XXL boy at around 220 lbs now and could use to loose at least 20 lbs but we tend to spoil them a bit here. <br/><br/>Could you be his next forever?
