While she can be a bit shy when meeting new people or exploring new environments, Flutter gains confidence quickly — especially when she has another dog by her side. She is noticeably more comfortable and settled in the presence of a canine companion, and for this reason, she would do best in a home with another friendly, playful dog who can help boost her confidence and provide an outlet for her boundless energy.<br/><br/>Once she feels safe, Flutter becomes incredibly cuddly and loves nothing more than being close to her people — especially snuggling up together in bed. She’ll even gently nudge you with her paw when she wants attention, her own adorable way of asking for pets.<br/><br/>Flutter enjoys walks and is very well-behaved on leash. She’s also wonderfully calm and relaxed on car rides, making her an easy companion for outings. In her foster home, her curiosity sometimes gets the best of her, leading to the occasional misplaced chew on items like clothing or cords. She’ll benefit from supervision, structure and appropriate toys to help redirect this behavior. <br/><br/>Flutter is also quite the little jumper and can reach counters and tables, so keeping tempting items out of reach will help set her up for success.<br/><br/>Flutter is a smart and eager learner who already knows “sit” and “paw.” She is still working on house training — making great progress with peeing outside and continuing to build consistency with pooping outdoors. With a patient and committed family, she is sure to keep improving.<br/>Flutter is looking for a loving, active home that can provide her with the structure, companionship and playtime she needs to truly thrive.
