Flower

Beautiful Flower came in to a high kill shelter in Los Angeles as a stray, found wandering the streets, and was unclaimed. She was stressed and anxious in the shelter but gradually warmed up to a volunteer who worked with her gaining her trust. She was saved from euthanasia by a local rescue and is now in a temporary foster home and doing well living with a small dog but in a small apartment. She bonds easily with her human and is very smart. Flower is about 2 years old, weighs 53 lbs, spayed and fully vaccinated, and so beautiful with one brown and one blue eye. She is also house and crate trained. She would do best in a home with a secure fenced yard where she could run and play and exercise and with another compatible doggy companion her size. We are looking for a local committed foster or a forever home for Flower. She is very affectionate and loving, super smart, and knows some basic commands. And being treat oriented, she is easy to train, and really wants to please her human. She rides well in a car and loves her walks although she needs some work on her leash skills. An ideal foster or adopter would be someone who works from home or is retired and has time to spend with her in an environment that provides mental and physical stimulation where she can thrive. She would be appropriate in a home with children 12 years or older and with an active lifestyle.
