Florence Staffordshire Bull Terrier & Boxer Mix Knoxville, TN

Hi!

My name is Florence and I’m a 2.5 year old, 60 lb Staffordshire Terrier/ Boxer mix. I need a new home through no fault of my own. I’m a fun-loving gal who loves running around outside, chewing on a hoof, finding the squeaker in a toy like my life depends on it, eating snacks, taking long naps on the couch, and snuggling with you while you watch Netflix. My tail swishes to the rhythm of my slurping when I drink water, and I love looking out the window to make sure the mailman isn’t going to attack us.

I love to ride in the car - I even have my own seatbelt. I have also been to charm school and know basic commands like sit, stay, down, off, wait, etc. I’m crate trained (mom crates when home alone), and while I DO NOT suffer from separation anxiety, I prefer a family where I get to be out of my crate more often than not. I get along well with other dogs but would likely be best suited to dogs more my size because sometimes I get overzealous in my enthusiasm. But let’s really be honest here - my sole purpose in life is to love, love, love you and there’s no sense in hurting another dog’s feelings when he realizes his affection skills will always pale in comparison to mine! Florence has been around older children and enjoyed them.

Florence is up-to-date on vetting, spayed, and on heartworm and flea prevention. She is leash trained. A fenced yard is needed unless you really enjoy exercise in the cold, rain, and heat of summer.
