Flora Lynn's Story

Flora Lynn is a one-year-old terrier/pug cross. Despite coming from a high kill shelter in Oklahoma and never truly having a home of her own Flora has remained full of love and personality.

Flora is loving and affectionate to all who give her a chance, her favorite place in the world is in someone's lap. Flora has spent time around children and older adults. She has recently taken a few trips to her local boys and girls club where she spends her time loving any child she can reach and wowing them with her tricks.

Flora enjoys the company of other dogs but would prefer to be the center of attention within the home.

Flora is currently staying in a home with dogs that are training to be hearing assistance dogs. The trainers she is with have helped her learn lots of new skills including basic obedience, alerting to a door knock and oven time, as well as fun tricks like spin, circle, and high five. Flora would love the opportunity to continue learning with someone who is as eager to learn as she is.

Despite experiencing some stress when left home alone she has been working on this and progressing well. she is currently able to be home alone for a few hours at a time. With time, routine, and patience her progress will continue to grow.

Flora hasn't been in a home with any small critters but due to her primary breed being terrier she is currently looking for a home that doesn't have any small furry friends.

This sweet little girl would love to make her way into your heart. With her shining intelligence and her knack for looking cute she's one of a kind.
