Meet Flora! This angelic momma was found abandoned at a truck stop in New Mexico, pregnant and ready to give birth at any moment. Thankfully a Good Samaritan saw her and rented a hotel room for a few days so she’d have a safe and peaceful place to give birth. A few days later, he drove her to his moms place in the Bay Area since he has to travel a lot for his job. His mother took care of Flora and her 7 puppies for 5 weeks until she was no longer able to. And there wasn’t any way we could say no when she reached out for help! <br/><br/>We don’t know much about Flora but we believe this sweet, gentle, beautiful soul is around 3-5 y/o. Flora’s currently being fostered with a dog and cat. This is her second new dog she’s been housed with so think she’s good with other dogs and cats! Her foster mom said that she doesn’t quite understand the family cat and just stares at it. When the cat came up to greet her, Flora froze in confusion and possibly because she was a little scared of this new creature. We know that every animal is unique, just like people, so if you do have another dog, we will ask for a fully family meet and greet before she can go to her new home. <br/><br/>A little more about Flora - <br/><br/>* Flora has a very mellow, low-key vibe.
